Beautifully woven reed rocker with a star & cornucopia motif back.  This is a wonderful example of the imaginative designs of wicker furniture during the Victorian era.  Note the rams horn shape to the back and the front of the arms, and the free flowing curlicues along the top.  The scoop seat has a diamond pattern woven in and is designed for comfort.  This rocker has been completely restored in a stain finish.  The mushroom shaped ottoman is from the same era with a scooped seat and embellished with curlicues.  Priced as a pair.

fountain.jpg (93978 bytes)It is hard to believe this is a fountain.  The base is hand woven of reed with 3 pockets for hanging greenery.  One pocket opens for access to the fountain motor.  The motor, woven base and slag glass collar are all original to this whimsical piece.  The flame shaped shade for the light has been replaced.  Yes it lights up! This piece has been restored and is completely functional. It is ready for your sunroom or conservatory.

Rare child's baby buggy in automobile shape. This buggy sports it's original working headlights, convertible top, porcelain handle and wooden wheels with brass caps.  The seats lift out to reveal a cane bottom.  This buggy is simply labeled Wakefield.   The Wakefield Rattan Co. originated in Mass., it is possible this buggy was made to commemorate the Duryea automobile which began production in Massachusetts.  Completely restored in a stain finish.

Extremely rare doll's high chair in original stain finish.  This piece is early 1880s possibly late 1870s.  Woven of fine reed with a rattan frame, it still has it's original mat cane seat.  Completely restored. Still very sturdy and functional.

2 original stain finish footstools.  Both are from the late 1890s.  The stool on the left embellished with fish scale weave and elongated beads.  Woven of reed, measures 16" square by 16" ht.    The stool on the right is featured in the 1898-99 Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Co. catalog.  It is simply decorated with double curlicues and stick and ball.  Nice basket weave top.  Completely restored.
